Cosmetic Damage
This category includes scratches, color imperfections, etc. A Grade A product may have such damage but to an extent and/or point that is not obvious and does not affect the operation of the device in the least.
Premium Grade
The Premium product is like new in its box or in a different from the original packaging in excellent condition.
A Grade
Grade A in laptops is reserved for units that show very light signs of previous use. Any wear and tear on the 'Class A' laptop unit, including the casing and external surfaces (ie cover / lid and keyboards), is associated with normal minimal use. Units graded 'A' may have very minor discoloration or minor scratches with light wear to the keyboard from light standard prior use. 'Class A' laptop screens are free of scratches, cracks, dead pixels, dark spots, discoloration or imperfections.
B Grade
'Class B' laptops are fully tested and fully functional, but are subject to: scratches on the outer casing of the laptop and more severe external wear and tear than 'Class A' units, including scratches on the lid or keyboard. 'Class B' laptops may have one or more small dings or dents on the covers. 'Class B' computers will not show cracks or dead pixels on the screens, but may show light scratches on the screen frame.
